Early in the nineties we were returning home and stayed a night in Lakeview. Lately, I've had a bee in my bonnet about being able to return. We camped at Steens Mtn. in 1988 -- it was beautiful. Southeast Oregon is a place I would love to become more familiar with. I am an Oregonian and moved to WA for spouse's job nine years ago. We don't have great aspirations for exotic vacations, cruises, etc., -- would just like to get out to see the great inland, off-the-beaten-track NW. Thanks
